The BASN is offering UK-only financial support for 15 successful applicants – specifically: “Costs of attendance at the meeting, UK travel expenses, accommodation in Glasgow, will be covered up to the value of £400.”
The AASA Pgrad Travel Grant ($600) may be used to help towards funding the international travel costs associated. There will be only one grant, and the decision to award will be made by the Executive Committee of AASA.
Eligibility
1) you must be a postgraduate student (HDR) at an Australian/New Zealand University
2) you must be a financial member* of the AASA (as at November 27th 2015).
3) you must be accepted by BASN as a participant in the Symposium
How to apply: once you’ve been accepted by BASN, applicants need to send a copy of their application, the letter of acceptance, a cover letter, and a reference from a supervisor/advisor to: fiona.probyn-rapsey@sydney.edu.au . This needs to occur within 10 business days of being notified of BASN’s acceptance.
