Research interests / activities:

The intersection between animal law and public law, particularly issues such as accountability and transparency in lawmaking and enforcement.

Elizabeth taught law at the University of Wollongong from 1997 to 2009. She co-ordinated the subject Animal Law in 2008 and has taught it several times since then. She has also published in this field, including book chapters and journal articles.  She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Animal Studies Journal.

Outputs: Animal Law publications include book chapters, journal articles and an animal law edition of Hot Topics for LIAC. I also use Animal Law to illustrate general issues in my first year text Principles and Practice of Australian Law (3rd ed, 2013).
